How bank holidays and weekends affect scheduling payments

When you schedule a payment via Key CashFlow℠, you can only select bank business days for the Delivery Date. If you set up an autopay schedule for a vendor and the scheduled date for deducting funds is a bank holiday or weekend day, the system will automatically deduct funds on the immediately preceding bank business day.


Do payments clear on bank holidays and weekends?

No. If you set up an autopay schedule for a vendor and the scheduled Delivery Date falls on a weekend or holiday, it'll be set up for delivery on the previous bank business day.

If a weekend or bank holiday falls within the regular processing time for a payment, the payment will take an extra day to process, since banks don't operate on those days. That extra day will be reflected in the date that we deduct funds from your bank account.
