How to import your Vendor and Customer lists
For accounts on our price plan where accounting software sync isn't available, you can connect one time with QuickBooks Online or Xero to bring in your vendor and customer lists. If you use other accounting softwares, you can use our import feature to import them in manually.
Using QuickBooks Online
If you use QuickBooks Online for your accounting software, we can connect to your QuickBooks Online account to automatically import your customer list.
- Select the Sync with your accounting software card
- Select Get started
- Enter Master or Company Admin login credentials for your QuickBooks Online account
- Select Sign In
- Select Authorize
Using Xero
If using Xero for your accounting software, we can connect to your Xero account to automatically import your vendor/customer list.
- Select the Sync with your accounting software card
- Select Get started
- Select Connect your Xero account
- Enter Xero login credentials
- Select Allow access
Import manually
If you use an accounting software other than QuickBooks Online or Xero, you can use our import feature to import your vendor and customer lists.
Export your vendor and/or your customer list from your accounting software in .csv format then follow the steps below:
- Select Settings
- Select Import/Export
- Select Import next to Vendors or Customers
- Select Choose file and locate your vendor or customer .csv file
- Select Upload
- Map the headers of your spreadsheet to the Key CashFlow fields
- Enter a profile name next to save as for this header mapping
- We will save this mapping so that you don't have to map it again
- Select Continue
- Select Import
